BATC Forum

BATC will have a stand at Friedsrichaven this year.

We will be showing demonstrations of the Portsdown and Ryde plus we will be on hand to offer advice to anyone interested in Amateur Television.

Due to customs issues, we will not have the BATC shop available but we are looking to see if we can carry over online shop orders made before the event to save on customs and duty and ensure a speedy delivery.

We are also helping to organise and will be making presentations at the ATV conference at 12 noon on Friday.

If you are going to HamRadio 2022 and willing to spend a couple of hours helping out on the BATC stand, please let us know.

After June 13th EU members will be able to order items in the shop and at checkout select “Collect from Hamradio 2022”.

If you select this, you will not be charged postage and we will hand carry them to avoid customs charges.

Hi Brian,

It is unlikely it will be streamed this year as, due to the customs changes, we are very limited in what we can take and we are hand-carrying everything - hence no BATC shop on the stand.

Dave and I discussed what we would be demonstrating and we included Winter Hill in the list, although we are also limited on what HDMI screens we will have.

BTW - European members can now place orders in the shop for pick up on the stand thereby avoiding customs charges (and delays) and post and packing.
