make Router

well I'm usually a Linux (Debian, Kubuntu) user and as with Linux i'm still always learning

i'm interested in making a router from scratch all the time learning

this router will have all the usual bells & whistles like Gigabit, DHCP, WLAN so obviously an integrated AP and anything else a typcical good router has like DDNS because currently it isn't required but other ISPs may be DDNS

any help of advice would be appriecited

BTW: i think i will be joining BATC, obviously unless someone suggest somewere else to help me to better with this project, but i would also need help with the streaming vids from my NAS to my TV

can anyone help ?
