AGAF DATV TX NOW SOLD

These AGAF Digital ATV boards have been updated to version 3 software and are now running on 437.250 MHz.

Developed at the University of Wuppertal by Prof. Uwe E. Kraus DJ8DW / PA3ACY and his students. The DATV system has two cards: an MPEG2 encoder and a digital exciter for DVB-S/QPSK. Each card runs off 12 volts DC.

The TX RF is 10 mW at 437.250 MHz, which can transmit with a bandwidth down to 2 MHz in 70 cm and can cover the microwave bands with an up-converter.

Video Input: PAL / NTSC, Y / C / composite video, programmable by jumpers
Audio Input: 2 channels analogue
Output: 2 x MPEG-2, parallel, adjustable between 2 and 10 Mb / s
Data Rates: Programmable by jumpers to 1.5, 3, 4.5 and 6 Mbps
Transport stream: 1.6875, 3375, 6.75, 13.5 and 27 Mbps
