Voltage tuned satellite tuner module

Has anyone got one of the old voltage tuned front end modules for a satellite receiver. I think some of the old 1.2GHz Chinese CCTV receivers also have voltage tuning so might do. I just want to build a very basic spectrum monitor by feeding in a modified sawtooth voltage. IF frequency not important as can hash something up with a logarithmic amplifier.
