TEEFAX as a carousel alternative

I was considering what club, net, and other information to put on the carousel and how often it would need to be updated when I remembered TEEFAX, the Teletext rebuild.
Doing some research I found Vbit-IV which can output an in-vision "Pages from Teefax" over HDMI
Has anyone tried going down this route and what were the results?
