Has anyone experience with current DVB S receivers I'm looking for ones with a valid signal (lock) and video output for our local repeaters.
Cheap and easy to obtain will help.

I bought one of these (not from this seller mind) and I can confirm it has a lock light, also has the benefit of being S2 as well.

I bought one of these to play with last year - for home use - it does work - in a fashion - sometimes does crash ( a Friday one perhaps). Would not recommend it in a repeater unless you test for extended period, but OK for shack use where you can power down/up to clear it. I have not found any update on its OS as there is no Manufacture named (on mine). Poor and low range remote control.

I have a couple of Comag SL30/12 DVB-S receivers spare from a project that didn't take off, that can be modified to bring out a lock detect.
