Hi, I'm in the process of building the BATC logic controller for GB3CT, but I have run into an issue while testing what I have built so far. I'm hoping someone can assist.
The basic setup is 6 inputs across 2 cascaded PORTA HDMI switches using the dual IR drive circuit which I have driving a pair of IR and visible LEDs (so I can visually monitor the IR bursts on both channels). I have tested the circuit by toggling the select and drive logic levels and I am happy that it is working as it should as the inputs change to 1 on the switch on boot-up. However, the PI does not seem to output any drive to the IR LED circuit on any input selection.
The 6 inputs don't seem to do anything, so I have tried monitoring what is going on using the logging facility but upon each input selection across any of the 6 inputs, the log just repeatedly shows input change detected, monitoring de-bounce when each input is activated. It doesn't appear do anything more. Should the log file indicate successful selection or anything? I'm using the latest software build.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason
Happy to help investigate this. Please could you e-mail me the repeater_config.txt file that you are using, and also tell me which operating system version you have loaded (buster or bookworm).

Re: BATC Repeater controller - Getting it up and running
To close the loop on this topic:
Jason had made the settting "beaconmode=yes" in the config file. This stops any of the external inputs being selected by the controller and just runs the carousel. Changing it to "beaconmode=no" restored the input switching.
I will amend the comment against this setting in the config file to be clearer in the next update.
