The BATC is pleased to support an exciting new project called dxspot.tv, a next generation web based facility open to all ATVers worldwide to encourage and enable DX ATV working.

Modeled on the highly successful ON4KST chat rooms, http://www.dxspot.tv spot presents easy to use DX cluster spotting for ATV contacts on all bands between 70cms to 3cms.

Designed for mobile & PC use and launched in time for the BATC summer fun contest in early June, the site provides the following:

• ATV DX cluster spotting for 70cms – 3cms ATV and DATV
• Interactive map showing all active ATVers worldwide
• Dedicated instant messaging IRC channel for ATV DX working
• Open source environment with github for full development co-operation

http://www.dxspot.tv has been developed by Phil Crump, M0DNY, from a specification originally generated by Noel Matthews, G8GTZ. The program has been developed using the github open development environment and new members and contributors are welcome to sign up and help us develop this resource for the ATV community.

Download the draft user guide from here http://www.dxspot.tv/dxspot%20user%20gu ... ue%20c.pdf and read the instructions on registration and then visit http://www.dxspot.tv and start to work more ATV DX.

Use this forum to post comments, feedback and bug reports or to apply to join the development team for this and other new ATV related projects.
