An initial post with links to the rules and the scoring spreadsheet:
The rules can be found here: https://www.iaru-r1.org/wp-content/uplo ... ontest.pdf. The najor changes from last year are in the band multipliers, the 2 sections for single location and multi-location, and the fact that only 4 roving sites are permitted.
The new scoring spreadsheet is here: https://www.iaru-r1.org/wp-content/uplo ... 4-5-16.xls You MUST use this new scoring spreadsheet as it contains the new band multipliers.
Completed logs should be sent to Clive G3GJA at contests@batc.tv before Monday 24 June.
Details of UK operators in the posts below.

Re: Jun 8th/8th IARU Region 1 ATV Contest
I will be operating from Bullbarrow Hill in Dorset (IO80UU24) on the Saturday with all bands 432 MHz to 24 GHz.
On the Sunday, I will be at Lane End, near Winchester in Hampshire (IO91JA47), again with all bands.
Primary talkback on 144.75 (moving up or down to leave the calling frequency clear) or Zello ATV South.

I hope to be portable on both days from IO94LI.
I'll have all bands 70cm to 24GHz but unless there's some Tropo I imagine 70/23 will be the only ones activated.
Looking forward to it.
btw, it's Finningley uW Roundtable the following weekend so I'll be portable there too if anyone wants to make a sked, unfortunately no good to the south from that site due to trees.

And I'll be atop Walbury Hill (IO91GI, as per 2022, for the weekend) with all bands 70cms - 24Ghz, talkback Zello 2m Horizontal beam or vertical blanket coverage.
Hoping the imminent high pressure hangs around and helps at least with staying dry!

Hello
I'm going to Clee Hill village quarry IO82RJ on the Saturday only. A newer car means I've asked John M0XJA for some help. My former set up braced to the car roof rack doesn't work. He's bringing a cantenna drive on mast and winch. If we can combine kit, then I should have 2m, 70cm and 23cm beams up. I hope Graham G3VKV is on air as his shack tour programme is a highlight of my ATV year. Sometimes he's the only station I can reach from Shropshire.
Do we have an arrangement for talk back on 70cm when 2m is in use for TV?
I will have 5.6GHz fm ATV. This year it's with a Syncsmurf box. The site has no northerly nor easrterly aspects. I hope Dave and Gareth can fit me in to their busy schedules. And Arthur and I complete a 2 way.

Definitely David, happy to try 70 and 23 this year.
147 degrees from you to me at 347 degrees and 85 miles. Cotswolds might get in the way but we can try

HI all,
Yes should be around David,
Cheltenham a bit restricted due to the hills
Easy to work you on 2, 70 and 23cms DATV
Have all bands here up to 10GHz TX/RX
Talkback Zello or 2m 70cms
Graham G3VKV io81xv

I'm still going to be active Tomorrow from ~1pm onwards.
Will be packing up earlier than usual, 3pm Sunday, heavy rain forecast after then.
Forecast is for 30-40mph winds which is too much for the 1m dish on the van so looks like I'll on be only on 70/23 unless it calms on Saturday evening for a bit.
