Before returning south I wanted to try another path with Rob M0DTS/P The slightly obstructed path was 115km between IO85XF20 Winters Gibbett and IO94MJ97 (Rosedale moor)
Two way QSOs were had on all bands 2GHz thro 24GHz on 333ks DATV with MER ranging from 24db on 9cm to 5db on 24GHz(rob forgot to pack the 23cm antennas!)
A Two way QSO was also had on 6cm FMTV, the previous intermittent issue with carrier and no video on transmit being traced to a poor quality Chinese BNC plug
The FMTV signal was also received by G1LPS in io94eq at 55km after he did some careful balancing of components in the shack window
The observant may notice that Robs site has a gibbett present on his 13cm picture, just like IO91GI Combe Gibbett does. Perhaps a WAG award is needed?
All that has to be done now before returning south Sunday is a ride on the NYMR tomorrow from Pickering to Whitby for scampi and Chip lunch!

Re: midweek activity 17 June
After some equipment tests I found that the (weak) 24GHz signal Dave received was from only ~20mW of RF into the dish at my end.
Not bad at 115km!
My transverter needed more drive than the Lime can give, i will be removing some attenuation in the transverter
