Gareth

My QTH is line of sight to the area around IO92GC47 near edgehill so we could try if you were in the area

IO92GE90EG is LOS from this little hill behind me (worcester beacon)so I could take one band man portable up there(also a petrol saver!)

I was not active this weekend as I was active on both the commonwealth HF contest AND the stew perry 160m contest by remoting stations on both sides of the Atlantic. In the slow periods I managed to progress the PortslangXV (a scaled back Portsdown4 to be used for transverter driving when man portable) with the just arrived RPI4

Rob, now my 3.4GHz gear has been field tested I can easily take it to the Burton Dasset hills, should there be a path between us from there. It is at IO92GE90EG with, from memory,

Steve, Dave, I'm going back to Warwick next week (probably drive up Sunday evening) so should be able to take my 3.4GHz stuff with me. Can do Mag-mount 2m talkback into a 7/8th which should work or Zello ATV South. Nearer the time perhaps we can arrange a suitable day/time, subject to the weather etc. I should be able to escape my duties for an afternoon at 24hrs notice.

Right, for once the weather gods look as if they will play and I am free both Monday and Tuesday late afternoon/early evening.
I have 3.4GHz and 40W, 23cms 5 watts into +10dB and 70cms 5W into 12dBd. If I take a /P generator and the Dolphin amp, I can run over 50W on 70 if anyone fancies something distant. Other wise its dead weight to haul....
Jim and the Kettering area crew have a TV net on Monday from 7:30pm.
Anyone else fancy a shot?

I am OK both Monday and Tuesday afternoon, just let me know what is decided. It's worth noting that Tuesday evening 0730pm onwards is the UKAC SHF contest.

I have 3.4GHz 5W 18dBi gain, 23cm 10W 21dBi gain and 70cm 20W 17dBi gain all horizontal polarisation.

Strong preference to use Zello ATV South rather than 144.750 if that is possible.

Hi Steve, OK, that's handy. I'll take 70cms too, but probably only 5W.
Might do both evenings and have a first crack at NB on 3.4. Tested Langstone yesterday for mic levels etc and have just combined the Langstone PTT for ant relays with Bias PTT for my DATV amp. So either PD or LS PTT will enable/key up everything as required.....
I'll 99% be out Monday and seeing how it goes, Tuesday eve too.

I should be around this evening (Monday), Gareth. I've only got 70cm out of your bouquet of freqs and, as you know, 70cm from the RF black-hole-of-Carshalton is a bit 'circuit & see'. I'll try to get onto Zello South later.
