And don't forget Paul, M0EYT, master of mime until he got his sound working.

Good to see 12 stations on the BATC QO-100 net tonight, including 4 first appearances from 2E0XAY, G0ATW, GI4DOH and G4GUO. Pictures below - sorry Charles and Steve, I missed getting screenshots of you!

Full particpant list: G7JTT, G0MJW, G8GTZ, G8KOE, G4KLB, G4GUO, G4EML, 2E0XAY, GI4DOH, G0DGH, G0ATW and G8GKQ.

Please remember the parameters: 333 kS, H264, FEC 2/3. Some stations were running FEC 3/4 this week which caused problems with less capable receivers.

Look forward to seeing more stations next week.

Thanks to all who came on the QO-100 net this evening: M0EYT, GI4DOH, G0DQH, G0MJW, G8GTZ, G4KLB, G4EML, G4GUO, G7JTT, G0ATW, G0NZO (plus me).

Key lessons this week:
  • Test audio on all cameras and video sources beforehand
  • Set power level beforehand
  • Use correct FEC (2/3)
  • Try to run your encoder and SDR all the time, and just key your PA - that way you can transmit without delay
Same time, same place, next week!

Hi Michel

Yes of course. Just announce on the chat that you are ready, and I'll put you on the list and call you in.

I'm sure you have some very interesting projects to show us (briefly!).

Excellent net on Thursday with G8VPG, G7JTT, G0DQH, G4BVK, G8KOE, M0DTS, G4FVP, G0NZO, G8GTZ and myself.

Charles G4GUO has made a really good video recording of the net: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdaKVbe ... e=youtu.be

For next Thursday, please remember to keep your exciter running if possible, and simply switch the PA so that you can transmit without delay.

Thanks

The recording is a bit messed up towards the end. The reason is all the different transport streams with different clocks.
I did use TSDuck to resync the transport stream (without that it crashes VLC etc) I suspect if I read the manual I could
also find TSDuck apps for cleaning up the clocks.

I've realsed I've double booked myself tonight as I'm doing a Zoom talk on Oscar100 to Reading radio Club.

Is there any chance someone else can do the streaming of the net? If not I will do it but may not always notice if the PID needs selecting...

Another good net last night with: G7JTT, M0EYT, G0DQH, M0DTS, G8VPG, G1LPS, G4EML, G8KOE, G0MJW, G4KLB and myself.

Well done to Jim G0DQH on sorting his transmit problems; hope to see G0NZO next week.

Note that next week you will be able to claim one point in the activity contest for partcipating in the net! I think that claiming one point for each other net member might be a bit OTT?
