December Activity day anyone?

SInce we are now in December I thought I'd kick things off.....
Active from Woldingham Ridge in NE Surrey IO91XH with good takeoff in most directions subject to weather conditions, if its been very wet then good takeoff only SW round through North to East as I can't access the highest part of the field.
TX and RX on 4M & 2M DATV and FM TV on 5.6GHz
Talkback on 2M or 4M FM.

I think the intention for the Midlands ATV / microwave round table delegates is to ascend Brown Clee Hill, Shropshire on Sunday 15 December. It'll have to be fair conditions - for the cars. If I can get Peter M6EMP a lift to his rugby match, I'll join in. Probably too far away for a contact with you.

Hi David, Google shows about 220 kilometers between us and I have a good takeoff in that direction. I've certainly worked Wales from the same spot on ssb and a much smaller beam in the past with just 2.5 watts. Worth a go on 2M I'd say as I'm running a good beam.
I'll add the location to my Portsdown next time I boot it up.

Sorry but looks like Christmas has caught up with me and I'm busy Saturday afternoon and on Sunday which means I probably won't be at the Telford event either
I may be able to get on from home on Saturday on 146 and 437MHz - Gareth, I'll do the path plots and see if we could work.

Noel, I can't do the Saturday but would be interested to know if there is a path. Also hoping to try some NB on 6cms in the future if my laptop will support SDRConsole doing TX. Unless its pouring down I'll be out this sunday for AFS on 2M ssb for a play too..

Next weekend, 14 and 15 december we will be QRV in de ATV Contest with the Callsign PI4GN from JO33II with a good takeoff.
We have a good station and want to sked with you if possible.
QRV on:
70cm: 3x33el 400w Analog AM SATV.
23cm: 2m Dish 100w Analog FM
13cm: 2m Dish 70w Analog FM
And
2m: DATV 2x11 el yagi and 250W. Signal 144.6 or 145.3 MHz Initial SR:125k FEC 1/2 DVB-S2.

Its a 500 kM path over the sea mostly, but he is packing a fair old signal. I'll be out and listening unless the wx is dire so I'll set up a sked.

My current plan is to be out portable on Saturday from IO94MJ.
I'll be on site from ~11am.
QRV 2m/70/23 mainly but will have the higher bands with me if required.
Weather is forecast snow overnight into Sunday so Saturday is the best option.
Any takers IO93/IO94?
