Myself and Chris M0KPW, went out today to separate Fell tops and had over 2 hours of fun in the Lake District playing radio.
We took out our new much more portable 6cm FM ATV / WBFM setups and also 23cms transvertors. We of course worked each other for "Summit to Summit" points and a few others on 23cms FM too.
Are there any other ATV SOTAers around, there is a fair amount of microwave SOTA activity, but not too sure for ATV, unfortunately the 6cms WBFM activity seems to have dropped off.

Re: Any SOTA Chasers/Activators on here ?
Does a SOTA mountain goat count ? I completed 1000 Activator points in October 2016 then set about the second hardest thing in Amateur Radio - a 2 way DATV QSO for my next challenge. Hopefully this year
My 6cm FM gear with single patch aerial is under construction. I've to get the transfer relay working then box it up. 6cm was so 2018 and the trendsetters are on QO-100 now.
There is no TV mode on Sotawatch nor on the SOTA database - that will need fixing.
Well done on the first TV S2S! Big achievement. Was there an article in the SOTA reflector or news to explain the significance and difficulties of the contact? It would be a good place for an appeal for a TV mode? One day we'll have single computer DATV transceivers. John G7JTT has a Windows notebook, Lime mini, amp, android phone and minitiouner arrangement that looks very small. Perhaps he'll show and tell?
73 and a safe descent
