Christmas Repeater Activity Contest

The BATC has organised a repeater activity contest to run from the 22nd December 2018 to the 1st January 2019.
Points are claimed for the distance from your station to the repeater for a successful contact. You can use multiple locations on the same day to the same station and you can work the same station the next day from the same locations to gain valid points. In other words, valid points can be claimed for every unique contact in terms of day, location and callsign worked.
There a certificate for the winning station and runner up and most importantly there is
£100 up for grabs for the Group with the repeater getting the most points; that will help with site rent, electricity or hardware so get operating and support your Group!
For full rules see the Wiki at

I have designed an Excel Logfile that can be used to submit your entry to this Contest. It can be found here:
https://wiki.batc.org.uk/images/6/68/Re ... urcall.xls
PLEASE NOTE NEW VERSION WITH CORRECTED POINTS CALCULATION UPLOADED at 1930 on Saturday 22 December
Please check that it works for you before the contest - I can try to fix any errors that you find.

Hi Adrian
Quite simple - you need to press the "Enable Content" button (in the yellow bar near the top of the page) to enable the Macros to calculate the distance. It can't do the calculations if you won't let it!

An awkward time I know but GB3TZ has developed a receive fault on both the 13 and 70cm inputs. There's no access at all on 13cm; 70cms will occasionally let you in if your lucky. You'll probably have better luck with the National Lottery.
Two club members attended site today but were unable to gain access due to a security issue. It will not now be possible to gain access till after the holidays.

Thanks to Adrian G4UVZ for spotting a scoring error in the original spreadsheet. I have just uploaded a corrected version to the same place:
https://wiki.batc.org.uk/images/6/68/Re ... urcall.xls
The new version is labelled "Version 2018-1-R" at the bottom of the instructions page. The old, incorrect, version is "Version 2018-R".
