Hi Brian, Tony
A 1.5m dish is large enough for EME on 3cm, even 23cm with WSJT. I am hoping to do the same with my 2.4m dish but the real difficulty is finding an azimuth bearing as it is very heavy. For terrestrial work unless you are on a hillside with a clear tree free view of the horizon it is probably to low.
Iphones and photos the wrong way up is a common issue.

3.4GHz big dish test.
Re: 3.4GHz big dish test.
This dish isn't too heavy, so it might go on some sort of turntable. It's not recommended for 10GHz, but it would be interesting to see what it really is like, if I can find a suitable prime focus LNB / feedhorn.
It appears to be working well on 3.7GHz, comparing favourably with G4CBW's 3.0m.
