Currently thinking to go to the Ridgeway above Didcot on Sunday and hopefully work G8VPG, M0SKM and G0MJW.

Probably take 146, 3.4GHz (NB contest), 5665 and maybe 24Ghz.

If you bring 24GHz we will have an opportunity to more than double our previous best DX, possibly even into the double digits - assuming I park a little further away. Wonder if it will work from my Garden? It isn't quite line of sight so a little more of a challenge. Anyone else on 24GHz?

I may be around saturday afternoon for just a looksee on 24cms and 2.4ghz from my home QTH Unfortunately I won't have talkback but I can record any signals seen if it helps! Sunday is out as it's the North Camp rally probably one of the best in the east midland!

Shaun I will have to pack up by about 13:30.
I also have a problem with the Portsdown on 2m which I will try to sort today. 5665MHz is fine.

Can anyone tell me what frequencies you all intend to use today on 24 cms and 2.4 Ghz is anyone operating analogue?
I don't hold out much hope but I'm putting up a small panel antenna for 5.665 Ghz RX. It will be pointing towards GB3PV from my QTH at Downham Market. I don't expect it to be clear of surrounding objects but if anyone is running megawatts there is a very slight chance I may see something.

My other antennas are on the mast and fully rotatable. I'll report on here details of any pics received.

Hi Peter

Most people use 1255 or 1248 on 23cms - there's no real activity on 13cms although the Luton repeater GB3TZ is on 2326 I think.

Hopefully you'll see something - there's seems to be a bit of activity restarting in the Cambridge area and G4BAO (Waterbeach) was showing off his 5665MHz kit at Martlesham Round Table.

Thanks for the info Noel. Re 5 ghz Pete and I tried out his Sky dish on RX fed with a double Bi quad it worked a treat very sharp! I'm hoping to pick up a dish tomorrow and get something up on the mast. Re Wednesday I'll bring my small dish for RX which sits on the car roof. Hope we have a good take off!
