... This is where I'll be, if anyone has a path and would like to try please let me know.

Yay! I've found a convenient spot not too far from one of my usual perches that has a good LOS path to there - 70km - I just need to get my finger out and get the gear up and running.
I can easily run a 5.6GHz wbfm voice station in time for tomorrow/Sunday but it's not going to be possible to do any TV this time around. :(

Will keep an ear out for you, should be able to make it to Bury on 2M and if I get my finger out I might have 5.6GHz receive but I really haven't aimed for that mode so far.

I will be out /P on the Ridgeway near Harwell on Sunday, with 146, 5.6 GHz FM and 24 GHz DATV. Saturday tbd - any requests?
Decision made! On Saturday afternoon I will be at Win Green, near Shaftsbury IO80WX with 146, 5665, 10GHz and 24 GHz. Talkback 144/75.

Hi All,

I'm also going to be with Chris tomorrow afternoon, we will have a reasonable site with good take-off south from South Cumbria. Looking for Skeds and will be on 144.750 of course.

I'm running on 5.6g a 80cm dish and FPV kit, but if there is still activity I could dig out my 1.2g F.M. kit for the next session.

GW3NWR/P will be at Dolphin, North Wales, IO83JG40 from about 1300 on Sunday, with 2m, 23cm A/D and 6cm.

Graham, we can both see the high ground to the east of Rochdale, so it's worth a try.

Today was a fun day out, quite a few stations to work on 6cm.

On 6cm:
G0RPH/P and G4PDF/P nr Caistor, Lincolnshire
G8AGN/P and M1EGI/P at Sheffield
I think all participants worked each other in a triangle roughly 100km all paths :-)
My 600mW 6cm Tx died on the second round after i had tweaked the elevation on my dish so i had to call it a day on that band, looks like the smd regulator IC died as it is now charcoal!

on 23cm:
I also worked M0MLJ at Bolsover 108km, been a long time since i worked Ray, nice to see another signal again 23cm analogue.
I also saw GB3VL, and G0KOO from Boston accessing VL.

Will be out again tomorrow from ~1pm (after lunch!) @IO94MJ, hopefully lots of stations can make it on then too :-)

[ Last minute decision - I will be on the Ridgeway above Didcot from noon onwards. Good take off to the North and East (Luton area etc).
I will be at the 4x4 parts show at Newbury (same venue as the Rally) until early afternoon. Then I plan to go to the Ridgeway with 2m and 24GHz (now improved through adding a tripod) or perhaps shoot for my best 24GHz DX from home if I can work Dave G8GKQ.

Change of plan

Sorry - I will not be out /P today, however Noel G8GTZ will probably be operating from the Ridgeway.

So will I!

I will have 24GHz with me so maybe we can try for a longer path than last time - 3 metres!

Rain stopped play unfortunately. The weather was pretty awful when I got to the Bury Down car park, too much water in the air is not good for 24GHz.

(It was much more than 3m, nearly 4)
