Really enjoyed the contest this weekend. Despite having to go to work as well.
First failure of the day was at switch on. Accidentally put RF through the 23CM preamp on the mast.
Despite that it was back to back contacts until I decided to drop the tower over and fix the preamp.
Tower back up and just time to put a call out for a test before bed. Glad to say all was well and was rewarded with best DX for me on the contest. G7AVU Bob at 152km. Most pleasing contact was with G3KJX/P on 5665mhz superb signal first time he had taken the equipment out.
Worked all bands 70cm to 1.2cm with M0DTS/P on the Sunday. 22 contacts in total great activity level not a spare moment, Thanks everyone :D

A hectic weekend roving between 2 sites on Saturday and Sunday but only 1 minor equipment failure - not surprising considering the amount of kit I took out!

I only worked a total of 8 stations but several of those on multiple bands - highlights including working G8GKQ on both days on all bands from 146MHz to 24GHz and working Neil G4LDR on 76GHz.

More activity down south would have been good but overall a good weekend - just got to put the entry in to contests@batc.tv

I have just published the International Results for the IARU Contest on the BATC Wiki here: https://wiki.batc.org.uk/IARU_ATV_conte ... al_Results. 100 entries!!

The UK submitted more entries than any other country and we were well-placed in the results, gaining first place in 3 of the bands with Rob M0DTS coming 5th overall. Well done to all!
