146.5MHz South Wales to Taunton Tests

During the January ATV Activity weekend, I had attempted to work Noel and the Bristol Guys, on 146.5MHz, without Success, mainly as the path to the East here is restricted.
Last Thursday, Adrian G4UVZ suggested running some tests on 146.5MHz, Taunton is Approx due SSE of my QTH so the path is better.
After some issues were sorted, we successfully exchanged pictures on 2m, path length was about 46 Miles
Some photos of the exchange:

Great contact over quite an obstructed path ..learning point ...line up antennas on fone before trying NBDATV!
...Anyone in Wiltshire ready for 2M tests?

Hello Dave,
My end, DATV Express with G4DDK Amplifier, about 4.5W into a 12ele PowAbeam at 50 feet.

What is the gain of the powerbeam? Is it this one

I am really surprised that PA can give 4.5W on DATV. Normally you are lucky to get 10% of the maximum CW output.

Hello Mike,
Edit: I've got the CQM12UX, 6m long, I've assumed 12dB Gain for ERP calculation.
Got the Amps Mixed up!, I use this one at home
https://www.dg0ve.de/en/index_htm_files ... 017_01.pdf & the other one I use in Cardiff.
Also use a 30ele PowAbeam Antenna on 70cm with a

So if anyone in the South Wales / South West wants to do a test on 2m or 70cm, give me a shout!

I don't think I would get away with one of those antennas here. I have a 17 element Tonna and its a bit too large. The DG0VE is a nice implementation of the high power RA module. Unfortunately these modules seem to be going out of production.
