There's a weather front running east/west passing over on Saturday so doubt there will be any good dx.
Maybe have to use air scout for aircraft reflections..hi

I have just looked at the Met Office forecast for Blaenavon, the nearest town to the Blorenge, and it is rain all day, as it is for home here. I don't think there is any room for error with such a definite forecast and therefore I am calling off my expedition tomorrow. Very disappointing, but I have to operate from the open back of an estate car, and this is not feasible in the rain especially 500m up on a very exposed mountain top.
Noel, try beaming 2m RB-TV to Bristol, because the GB3ZZ 2m input aerial is a 4 ele beam heading SE; 146.500MHz, 333ks/s, FEC7/8, Video PID 256, audio PID 4095.

Change of plan.

Due to the weather forecast (yes, we are Southern wimps :-)) we have changed our booking and will now be on the Isle of Wight on SUNDAY - everything else is the same.

If M0DTS is still going to be out on Saturday, I'll go to Anchor, IO82KL. I still don't know if I can actually get to the site that has a northern takeoff.

I'll try to get to Clee Hill on Sunday, but it'll be a late call, so expect me if you see me. Is the access road to Clee Hill the one from the south?

Is anyone going to be on Dunstable Downs on either day?

I'm not fixed to Saturday outing, could go out Sunday...
Conditions look slightly better for Sunday.

Seems like Sunday is the better bet all round. If I can get out, I'll head for Anchor to try 2m with M0DTS and then try to get to Clee Hill (about an hour) before the light goes.
