Hi Noel,

We know the path works and I can now transmit and receive. Requires a change over rather than a simple PTT but 2W or so cleanly on 146.5 MHz - nearly clean anyway, should translate to ~25W EIRP

I'm not going to be out /P on Saturday due to the very poor weather forecast, but i will still be active from home.

Hope to get out Sunday but will not be all day, probably 11-3pm.

Holme Moss is showing 50mph gusts for Saturday afternoon, so we've cancelled Saturday and G3NWR will be there on Sunday. With good takeoff from north clockwise round to south-east, it should be possible to get GB3YT, both Lincoln repeaters and maybe GB3UD.

We'll be stopping briefly on the way at a site on the A635 to work back to the west, probably 1230 ish.

I hope to be out on Butser Hil on Sunday, weather permitting. Should have 146.5 MHz RB-TV and 437 MHz DATV. Talkback 144.75 FM.

I've just finished my RB-TV gear:

I worked G8LES, G0MJW, G4CPE and G8GKQ/p on 146 MHz when I was out /p and G1HBD and G8LES on 70cms from home on Saturday.

Several other stations were heard to be active on .750 and http://www.dxspot.tv

Overall, a good weekend and activity seems to be increasing, so roll on the next one on March 12th and 13th.

We worked M0DTS/P, G3UVR and G6WRC on 23cm, but eventually ran out of daylight. When we reached Holme Moss, all that was visible of the mast were some eerie lights at the base.

GB3VL on Lincoln Catherdral was received at good strength on 23cm, but I couldn't prise myself out of the car to look for the co-located 10GHz repeater.

I've never been so cold. My face was so cold that I could hardly speak. I'm very envious of people who can arrive, raise the antennas and operate in the warm. :)

Don't know what you mean Brian - I was in thick mist and 6 degrees as the picture shows:-)

Dave G8GKQ down on Butser Hill said the sun was shining and it was 11 degrees!

Luxury! Being in Yorkshire, all we had was an old shoe box to operate from - and we were lucky. ;)

Wait until you see Rob's weather conditions.
