2025 Activity Weekends and Contests

All BATC Activity Weekends include 23cm in addition to the bands listed below and run for the full 48 hours GMT or BST as appropriate. Veron Contests run from 12:00 UTC Saturday to 18:00 UTC Sunday. Veron ATV Contests include DATV, whereas DATV Contests are exclusively digital.

The weekend sees a VHF activity period that coincides with the VERON DATV 6m, 2m and 70cm contest.

The DX info centre and F5LEN's propagation forecast maps both suggest good ducting along the south coast overnight Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday.

There a lesser chance of tropo along the east coast and into Europe, but might be worth a try.

Anyone going out portable?

I hope to be out /p Tomorrow from around lunchtime for a few hours at IO94LI.
Only planning to have 70cm with me this time.
Possibly 3cm Rx if there's not much going on.
