In test mode, the sidebands are reversed.

In test mode, USB or LSB produces a single carrier, spaced symbol rate / 4 away from the LO. This is used to adjust the sideband suppression. The bug causes LSB to produce a carrier above the LO and vice versa.

Programs affected: DL Config v1-40.

DLBUG: 1

The audio PID is always transmitted as 257, no matter what it is set to in DigiLite Config.

On DigiLite Config, various parts of the screen can display as different colours.

The background should be the same for the whole screen. It depends on which colours you have selected for various Windows components. Mine just happened to be all the same.

Programs affected: DigiLite Config v1-40

DLBUG: 3

When dragging and dropping a previously recorded MPG file onto DigiLite Transmit to replay the file, it sometimes crashes.

anyone tried symbole rate 4167ksym/s ?
it doesn't seem to lock on my recievers....

3000,4000 or 5000 is no problem !

but we wanted to standarize on 4167.... all d-atv tx's can handle this value...

is this a bug?

what can i do about it?

thanks

I have no problem here on 4 different receivers. I have received two other DigiLite stations using 4167. I am using my DigiLite as a video sender at SR4167 right now.

Do the numbers in the DigiLite Transmit status line look OK? No resyncs or boots? What is your FEC?

Try setting FEC on PC if it is not already. The dsPIC is being overclocked for SR4000 and above and maybe SR4167 is too fast for it.

the fec is 3/4
tried both on serializer and on pc... makes no difference.
sr=5000 is no problem that works perfect.

only 4167 seems a problem

strange...

You could check the symbol rate clock on pin 25 of the dsPIC. It should be 4166.6666...kHz for SR4167. I cannot think of a reason why it would not work on just one setting. Have you tried more than one receiver?
