MK808/DigiLite
Re: MK808/DigiLite
Are the TS settings stored on the micro SD card? If so, it would be easy to have a card for each configuration.

On the controller version the TS settings are stored in the controller so the sd card will not make any difference.
For the non controller version the settings are created when you run the nocontroller script so you could have separate sd cards with different settings.
If you were clever you could write another script to allow settings to be changed on the no controller version via WiFi / web interface....
Problem with that is you need to setup the WiFi which I'm not too good with on the 808!

Re: MK808/DigiLite
This evening i picked up a 29xxx version pvr from Terry G1LPS.
Found the problem, the 29xxx version uses some extra driver modules compared to 24xxx version - saa7115 & msp3400.
The 29xxx version now works with mk808
These files have now been added and i will upload a new sd card image tomorrow morning - 28th.
Also testing a 24022 NTSC version to see if it allows PAL operation, currently only NTSC... I will post results if any joy.

[ Edit: 24022 version will only accept NTSC signal input, no reason you cannot use it if you have an NTSC TV but away from the standard. ]

Re: MK808/DigiLite
On the PIDs, it would be useful to be able to enter all of them.
I don't have the no controller version here at the moment. What do the PCR and PMT PIDs default to? We use GB3UD settings for simplex contacts in this area and some receivers which had previously scanned standard DigiLite transmissions weren't able to lock on just by entering the video and audio PIDs.

Ah yes, UD input has PMT of 32 or something near that... will look into it.
Currently these are the settings:
PCR is the same as the Video PID which i think is standard?
PMT is 4095, same a DigiLite default.
I think PMT makes the most difference to decoding or not when the receiver sees a different value, it comtains the information about what the other pids are.

Re: MK808/DigiLite
Have just tested the latest's SD card download and can confirm it now works with my 29xxx ( and still works with my HVR1900!)
Well done Rob
