G8BYI controller - can it use an encoder

Post by g4bbh » Fri Jan 25, 2013 12:04 pm

After a year with a working but rather untidy Digilite I am trying to simplify my new front panel. The problem area is the three buttons up/down/mode. I wondereed whether I could use one of the dirt cheap rotary encoders for up/down with the built in push switch for mode. Only one knob and one hole in the panel :-)

I have made a program with quadrature encoders for the Digilite. May be you can adapt it for your use.
