Digilite 70Cms

Post by G0KTD » Fri Aug 03, 2012 11:42 am

Hi all Digilite Builder has anyone built one for 70Cms.
As I have two on the build here and I have changed the Nylquest I know that values are for 2Ms/s use 560pf/12uH/2n2/15uH/560pf
I take it that L1 & L3 are 12uH & L2 & L4 are 15uH and that the Caps are C13 C15 C16 & C18 are 560pf & C14 & C17 are 2n2.
The Question is is there any thing else to be a ware of in the build now getting near the test stages.

There are tons of 70cm data now on the DigiLite website,http://www.g8ajn.tv/dlindex.html (under HARDWARE/70cm) including some important drive level settings which will ensure no overheating of the AD8345. John O'Loughlin has a detailed description of his set-up procedure which we are currently appraising here in the UK but in the meanwhile please read it through and if you use it let us know how you get on.
As we seem to be getting narrower (If only !) with the digital signals we will need to look at a simple means of receiving lower frequency digital signals, particularly 146Mhz or lower. To this end Noel has started a Forum for ideas and discussions. To join in go to https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgr ... Q/overview.
