Digilite and Linux

Post by M0DTS » Sun May 13, 2012 5:10 pm

Hi All,

Just doing some tests here and wondered if anyone had managed to get Digilite TX to work correctly under wine emulator in Linux?
I've managed to map the /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 to Com1 and 2 in the .wine/dosdevices folder, this sems to work.
I had to change the access privileges for the devices to send data to them.

I've managed to get it to run but data to the com port seems limited otherwise it's running as it should (data stream from serialiser is very broken up). Digilite config works fine under wine.

Maybe useful for some non windows users if they can get it running, i'm no expert..hi

Not exactly a response to your question Rob but I will probably add a
Digilite interface to the DATVExpress Linux software eventually. That
is if I ever get around to building a Digilite to test it with!
