Streamer RTMP to HLS Audio Bug

I was testing today and noticed that my test tone audio sounded much better on my RTMP stream in VLC vs the HLS stream that is on the website.

I realized that because I run two-tones to test for stereo separation, the transcoder that is converting the RTMP stream to HLS is performing a mono mix, even though when I load the HLS stream in VLC it shows the audio as Stereo in the codec information.
