VMIX Streaming
Hi, I've decided to have another go at streaming to the BATC but Vmix has stopped working. i saw the details have changed to after correcting the info it still doesn't work and i'm now lost as to what goes where as I've trying everything around.
Destination = Custom RTMP Server
URL = rtmp://rtmp.batc.org.uk/live/streamname-G7MNP
Stream Name or Key = (I put the key from my account dashboard)
My responce from Vmix
****** = My Password (correct)
###### = My Key (correct)
FFMPEG1.Exited
Streaming
Stream #0:1: Audio: pcm_s16le, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 1536 kb/s
rtmp://G7MNP:******@rtmp.batc.org.uk/live/streamname-g7mnp/######: Input/output error
Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong?
Thanks,
Glen...

Re: VMIX Streaming
Hello Glen
You don't need streamname, your callsign is the stream name. Try this.
rtmp://rtmp.batc.org.uk/live/
G7MNP-#####
The second line goes where vMix asks for stream name or key.
Hashes are your key characters.

Re: VMIX Streaming
This is the entry in my vMix. Is this the same view you have? Mine is the full paid HD version.

Re: VMIX Streaming
That's exactly what I have and the streamer used to work fine. I've put it to exactly like you said and I've also got the paid for version.
At least with your help I've got further. so thanks for that.

You have 2 items double-entered. The last line of the ffmpeg error report says that it is trying to stream to:
The address it should be trying to stream to is:

Re: VMIX Streaming
Could it simply have stopped working due to a key (password) change?
Since I first took a stream my key has changed at least four times, not of my doing; it changes in the member control panel.
