GB3UD STREAM

Post by sean2e0saf » Sun Sep 17, 2017 3:06 pm

i need someone to stream gb3ud in 720/576 hd

the stream must be 24/7 it will require a minimum of a i3 cpu

unless you have good filters transmitting from your qth will not be possible as it will obviously desense your sat rx..!

a radio club would be best as a club project

please email me sean2e0saf@virginmedia.com for details

i can give you a sat rx and possibly a antenna you will need coax ecoflex is best..! and you may need a preamp

thanks all

Hi Sean

The Portsdown software on a Raspberry Pi 3 with an EasyCap will stream to batc.tv at 720x576. It would use significantly less power than an i3 and fit in half a 1U rack tray. Details here: https://wiki.batc.tv/Streaming_to_batc. ... spberry_Pi

Incidentally 720x576 isn't usually regarded as HD.
