Newbee question
Just getting set up to stream GB3FT using a RPI3, easycap and Portsdown - looks like I need to register for a stream.
Been poking around in the wiki and not found anything which helps me - any chance of quick pointer ?

Re: Newbee question
HI Steve,
Thanks for the link - sadly I had already discovered that page and another with a pdf showing how to set up the url etc - neither of which I found useful when trying to get the Portsdown to stream to the BATC.TV streamer.
As I see it there's two parts needed.
1. How to configure the Portsdown
2. How to set up a streaming account and associate it with #1 above.
I'm sure the info must be 'out there' - just can't find it....

Re: Newbee question
Hi Tim,
I can help you with 2.
As admin, I need to associate a GB3FT steam with your BATC account (you only get a member's stream as standard) and will send you the URL ans stream name by PM. There's a wiki page here https://wiki.batc.tv/BATC.TV_video_streaming_service which doesn't help you much as the Portsdown section is not written yet...
Once you have the details, I'm pretty sure the Portsdown is self explanatory under the output menus.

Re: Newbee question
Hi Noel,
once again thanks in advance for your help - hopefully I can get the streaming working on a RPI3 + easycap dongle + comag sl30/12 running Portsdown code ready for a co-operative local to provide streaming of GB3FT.
Initially I'll be testing it from here.
Looks as though a few of the locals are getting geared up to 'go digital and later tonight I'll be testing out the 146.5MHz RBW rx with Brian G4EWJ ready for deployment.

Re: Newbee question
Hi Tim,
The Portsdown setup requires console mode - you just look on the streamer to find your address and copy it to the Portsdown. I will try to post a picture.
First screen missing as forum only allows 3 - anyway its pretty obvious
