sat rx problem

Post by sean2e0saf » Tue Jul 26, 2016 10:30 pm

guys im wondering if anyone can help..!

my gb3ud stream sat rx is a fortec star fsco 5600 ultra

i seem to keep getting a problem and if memory serves correct my last rx did the same thing..

most of the time the rx works perfect then sometimes someone with a bit of a dodgy signal will use gb3ud and the rx here goes to a blank screen after they have finished there tx through the repeater..

any help or advice please..??

cheers

p.s.

antenna is a tonna 23ele
sat rx is the fortec star 5600ultra
coax ecoflex 10
preamp is a khune
i have a 5 pole interdigital filter
and a 1db attenuator after the filter without this the sat rx will not receive anything at all and the signals go wild
must be a mismatch somewhere and the khune is taking off i think..!

cheers

Can you clarify the order in which you have the various components in your receive system?
How have you dealt with the receiver lnb supply?
