Further to the guide - your url and stream name are found as follows:
When you have logged in at http://www.batc.org.uk, go to "manage streams" and you will see the following - the url and stream name you require is listed at the bottom of the page.

Had the question "whats a short url and where do i get one?"
The short URL is a short cut to your streaming channel and is listed on the manage my stream page (as shown below) or published by stream owners on their website site or streaming page.
For example to use this short URL, type http://www.batc.tv/streams/g8gtz into your web browser, where g8gtz is the text you entered in the "Short URL" field above.
