BATC at National Student Robotics Championship

Post by g8gtz » Sat Apr 26, 2014 7:03 am

The BATC is providing live streaming coverage of the National Student Robotics Championship being held at Newbury Racecourse this weekend, which we were asked to help with after the organisers were let down at the last minute by a professional video company.

The event is very different to previous events covered by BATC and we will providing 2 live channels covering the events in 2 arenas using remotely controlled PTZ cameras provided by Frank (M0AEU) and will have live event status on screen using software written by Phil M0DNY.

The events will be available in the live section on batc.tv but the event organisers will be embedding the 2 BATC players on their own website where most viewers will be watching the event live.

For more details on this great initiative to encourage students to get involved in robotics see https://www.studentrobotics.org/
