Streaming with the TriCaster

I have a TriCaster Studio (http://www.newtek.com/support/overview/ ... tudio.html)
I want to stream it to the BATC site.

I have the stream set up on the site but I don't know how to configure the TriCaster.
It requires the URL in the form 'url:port/publishing point' and the Stream ID

It gives a sample 'rtmp://192.168.1:1935/pub/instance

Hi,

maybe it is not recognising the stream ID, try add the stream name again after the main url eg. rtmp://fms.batc.tv/live/abc123 abc123
Thats the only thing i can think of as it was similar when encoding with ffmpeg, or is the stream ID the real stream name rather than encoded string of chars?

That's then not in the correct format for the TriCaster. There's still the problem with the port number.

Will take it to Noel for him to have a play.

Thanks

Ashley,

rtmp://fms.batc.tv:1935/live/<stream ID>

should work
