Why is trying to register a newcomer to DATV on the batc forum so difficult. Newcomers are unlikely to know where the last CAT was held, or who the chairman of the BATC is. And even when they google it, the answers are wrong, then they get blocked from registering for too many attempts.
Come on Guys you want new members then atleast make it easy for them to get on the forum.
Remember not all newcomers are young, like most Radio Hams they are getting older and forgetful and may not possess the knowlege of internet to get things right first time.
Why is registering on forum difficult for new members.

Re: Why is registering on forum difficult for new members.
Hi Mark
It's a compromise between making it easy for new members, and the very thin band of BATC volunteers spending all their time taking down spammers.
The answers to both the current questions are correct on the BATC Website.
