Audio issue??

Post by G0NMY » Sun Oct 14, 2018 6:16 pm

Well I have been trying to get my audio to come through GB3UD, (Analogue TX)
I can get into UD no problem but its as if the analogue 6.0MHz sound isnt being converted to the Digital output.
It used to work fine.
I am limited to test equipment but I have 2 TX's with 2W drive to my 30W amp.
I also have 2 MFJ tx units as well, and all my tx's have the 6MHz sound carrier and I am getting sound on my Analogue RX on 1249MHz input.
So is there a fault with the sound on GB3UD?? Or is it switched off?

Hi Mark,

Yes we have an Audio Issue on GB3UD on Analogue. Audio works fine on Digital but we usually disable it and use other talkback methods. We will try and sort it out as soon as possible. If you upgrade to digital you will see it is fine. We always listen to 144.750 Talkback when we are active, usually wednesday evenings.

Hi Simon,
Strange I was not alerted to your reply on here, must be a setting I have missed.
Ok on the audio fault atleast I know now it isnt my end.
I cant afford a digital TX I tried building a digithin but my surface mount soldering was not up to the task and it died.
Im trying to save some funds to buy a built Portsdown filter board but my car just failed its MOT and is soaking up my funds.
So it will have to wait for now.
Anyway thanks for letting me know.
Cheers 73 Mark :) :)

Hi - I have been watching you but I don't think you are listening on 144.750, or if you are you can't be heard from IO83RO
