GB3TV is now in repeater mode.

The input frequency is 1249MHz for analogue input with 6MHz audio sub carrier .

The digital input is 1249MHz at 1000ks/s DVBS and MPEG2 4:3

Results locally have been good.

That's good news. I will get out my QRP (3W) 23cms system and give it a try after work. I can generate more power, but hoping not to need it. I don't suppose there is any likelihood of a DVB-S2 upgrade? That would help. Do we need to set PIDs to anything unusual?

GB3TV is transmitting at 1ms/s DVBS and will only receive the same. The receiver is an old SL30/12 but appears to work well with the BATC recommended PID,s . Later in the year we hope to upgrade the TX modulator and receiver to DVBS2 .

We are recommending to our club members a cheap Satellite STB for reception of the 1ms/s transmission from GB3TV.
This STB is an Oakcastle SB200 purchased from AMAZON for just under £30.
