BATC Forum

I was very sorry to hear that GB3KT, the Kent ATV repeater, will be closing down in April 2011. The repeater is 23cm analogue.
This close down is apparently due to lack of membership and funds.

GB3KT has not used any streaming facilities or provided any information to the BATC or to this forum.

I do hear of the possibility of another group in Kent wishing to build a digital only repeater, time will tell, good luck to them.

GB3KT was permanently closed down on Easter Monday, 25th. April 2011. This was due to lack of funds caused by falling membership of the Kent Television Group.
There are no plans of which I am aware for a digital ATV repeater in Kent, indeed for any ATV repeater.
