GB3HV Group - Formation Meeting

Thanks to the efforts of Noel G8GTZ, Roy G8CKN and Mike G8LES, the new GB3HV is close to being operational from Roy’s excellent QTH (at Medstead near Alton) in Hampshire.

Before it goes on the air 24/7 we need to formalise its hosting and funding with the formation of the GB3HV group and the setting (and collection) of an annual subscription. The capital (equipment) costs have already been covered by bursaries from the BATC and donations of equipment.

We are planning an initial Zoom Meeting at 8pm this Tuesday 29 April. All are welcome to join the meeting using the link here:

The meeting should agree the Constitution, Hosting Agreement, elect the Committee members and set the subscription. The proposed agenda for the meeting is below.

You can read the proposed Constitution and Hosting Agreement on the GB3HV page on the BATC Wiki here: https://wiki.batc.org.uk/GB3HV#Organisation. This Wiki page has replaced the old GB3HV website (no hosting costs!).

Please do make every effort to join the meeting on Tuesday evening; if we do not get adequate support for GB3HV at this meeting, it will place the future of the GB3HV project in jeopardy . If you are unable to attend, please e-mail me with any comments on the constitution and whether you would be prepared to join the group for an annual subscription of around £20 per year.
