GB3FY UPDATE

Post by g3rfl » Wed Feb 19, 2014 8:36 pm

Well Guys after 10 years I have, through lots of troubles and help, been able to put GB3FY a 10GHZ repeater on air.
At the moment it is on low power but soon next week will be fully functional just 1W PA.
NOTE its a first LANKY repeater just at gound level not on top of a mountain but I hope to see if it will fly.

Excellent. I've marked out a few high spots in Cheshire and North Wales to try, with good paths to it.

Hi FOLKS
Now GB3FY is up and running TX wise and was opened up yesterday by a portable station G3ZGZ on Jubilee Hill 25km away the signal was very strong just on an LNB and -19dBm on the IF with an offset dish
Local folk are getting TXes built
Thanks to all who have helped....in all sorts of ways
