Hi Floks,
Well We are at last building up the 10GHz repeater to be sited at FLEETWOOD on a tourist attraction (with cafe and wokshops)
The OUTPUT FREQ is 10,240MHz and it INPUT is 10,425MHz running just under 25W ERP OMNI
We now have 17 FREE members of the Group and keeps rising
I have obained two steel poles and will be welding these together soon then painting to blend in with the area
I have built the TX and the LOGIC unit with its own Testcards
Using two long slotted (40) waveguides for RX and TX giving about 14dB Gain
These are just being made for the new FREQs
This week I got the new NOV for it from OFCOM
We have to get it up and running soon before Chistmass and involves a lot of mechanical work
NOTE at first it will be ANALOGUE with 6MHz FM sound Positive Video
Thanks to all whom have helped in all sorts of ways
THIS NOW PUTS ATV ON THE MAP FOR LANKY its a first!

Re: REPEATER NEWS GB3FY
That's good news.
Let us know when you're doing any tests. I don't think it will be easy to receive on the Wirral because of the rise at Blackpool front, but I've marked out a few high spots to try in North Wales.

Hi Terry
The Station went on air but once thev SUN got up it was all over the place tripping in and out then I remembered GB3XG all the things I had to do to correct for SOLAR noise
I had to increase the noise floor gap by two and that stopped it
At home I just saw a few m/V change on the AGC but on site with the SUN up it was changing about 20m/V
Also after that the SYNC DETECTOR was being upset so I had to turn that down a little
Its All fine tuning things
The YIG is always on FREQ even when we had frost last night
The Sound carrier injection is a little on the LOW side but that meand dropping the MAST a SUMMERS JOB
NOTE this is only 6m ASL at the bottom of the mast
Cheers Terry
