Stream input installed

GB3EY now has an Internet streaming input, following re-programming of the Raspberry Pi formerly used to play out HD videos.
A key can be obtained via email to clive@hesh.co.uk. Note that if you are not personally known to one of the Committee you will be asked to provide a copy of the first page of your Ofcom licence.
Whilst on the bench, a fault causing low output power was traced to an oxidised joint where the input of the circulator was soldered to the output track of the final RF amplifier PCB and a reduction of the glitches when switching inputs has been achieved by reconfiguring the HDMI switches so that one of them acts as a frame buffer feeding the encoder.
