Is there anybody there?

Post by G0DJA » Sun Jun 15, 2008 8:39 pm

Saw one signal through GB3VL tonight (G0ACZ) but no reply when I called him back.

No other signals seen through GB3VL and no calls heard on 144.750Mhz.

I'll keep listening...

Seems I am lucky over here on the Wirral. Tonight I saw tree GW stations working though GB7TM and G3SMU from Bolton on simplex. My Problem in contacting the Welsh guys is I am actually out of range for them to hear me on 144.750 but the repeater is P5 from Anglesey on 23cm.

There is certainly lots of stations with gear over here but not many turn it on these days. Pity you are a bit out of range from me. Maybe on SSB test sometime.
