Well, I'll try more. I have a satellite receiver DRE-5000, in the datasheet is written - the frequency range 950 - 2150 MHz. Input Level -65 -25 dBm, the bandwidth of 36 MHz.
I have to unscrew the plug from the head of the converter 10 - 12 GHz, and include an antenna on a range of 23 cm
But! receiver refuses to scan the frequencies 950 - 2150 MHz.
I do not understand where my mistake. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
What you have to do is go into setup and set the LNB frequency to 10 GHz
then when it scans the frequency it receives will be whatever it is displaying
minus 10 GHz so for example when it displays 11 GHz it will actually be tuned to
1 GHz.
Remember to turn off the LNB power supply option or use a DC block
in the antenna otherwise you are likely to blow an internal fuse in the Set top box
as it usually puts about 15v up the antenna to power the LNB.
You will probably have to set up a fake satellite with the frequency you want and
the symbol rate then do a manual scan for that satellite only.
I have a fake satellite called hamsat on my STB which has a couple of channels
on it one for each of the frequencies/symbol rates I use.
Hope that helps

Thank you Charles!
Common features are clear. But many private moments, and here the problems begin.
I thought that somewhere there is a detailed "Help", how to do this for beginners ATV, from scratch.
Ok, I think no problem, face it. Thanks again! Good luck! 73!
