Handy attenuators

Post by radiogareth » Mon Aug 22, 2022 1:55 pm

These two items popped up on one of my reliable sellers on eBay. You can often wangle some discount too :-)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... pell_check might use this for quick front-end signal reduction and receiver testing as sometime hard to get the signal small enough....
and
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114921172050 ... BM7umZ3dhg which will provide decent front end protection for my SA, along with an obligatory 10dB unit.
Loads of 'stuff' in the shop, pop it in your watch list or basket and leave it there, you often get sent a discount a day or so later. Or just ask....

I use these for drive control 10db in 1dB steps - 3Ghz - ideal after a Pluto rather than use the on screen slider
1pc TAMAGAWA URA-0110L-02 0-3GHz item 143373256198 usual auction site - sma connectors

Aahh, yes, I have one of those too :-) Very handy for ramping up the amp drive when out /P so the generator doesn't go into hiccup mode!
