I have no idea, but I was going to try and peak my new dish today, would such a signal make the beacon appear to be at a lower level than normal? I am hoping so, as otherwise I am going backwards here... ;) Chris 2E0ILY

Transponder loading definitely has an impact on the MER you will get from the beacon.

On an empty transponder I see approximately 10.7 MER but this can drop by up to 2 dB depending on how many other stations are using QO100.
