has any one set up the v8 sat finder for amateur tv please as i am looking to buy one to replace my 6906

Satfinders are not great for amateur TV. They will work with the wideband signals but everything is now going towards narrow band. You would be better off building a minitiouner.

But its no use for signals below 1000kS where nearly all the amateur activity is.
