GB3CT is now transmitting on 3404Mhz DVB-S2 1M/s from IO93UM, Caistor Top, Lincolnshire Wolds.
No receivers are currently active, beacon mode only.
Any coverage reports would be appreciated.

Couple of screenshots of paths i tested yesterday.
IO94JF Sutton Bank was fine with a little qsb, up to D4.

- path IO94JF.JPG (121.91 KiB) Viewed 3857 times

- gb3ct.jpg (205.87 KiB) Viewed 3857 times
IO94LI Cockayne Ridge was about 2dB over the noise so a little weak to decode, another 2-3dB may just have done it.
Interesting that the path plot suggests it should be nearly 20dB worse there.

Rob out of curiosity what is your rx set up

It's an 80cm Dish with a C-band LNB (C1W-PLL type) at the feed point.
Unfortunately those LNB's are not as easy to come by, the non PLL ones are easier to get and do also work for 1Ms signals but you have to be careful of any LO offset.

Now i've looked at the photo i took of the dish pointing to CT i think i may have been on a vertical lobe as the dish looks to be pointing very low!!
This will explain whey there was not as much signal difference between the two sites as predicted.
I'll confirm this next time i'm at the site.

Thankyou for the report Rob, it's good to see that the repeater is getting out OK.
Much appreciated.
